Holidays always bring back fond memories of my dad, he loved when all his children were together. My dad gave me a special gift, he taught me how to welcome people into my house when they didn’t have a place to eat. When I was young, Thanksgiving would be about going to the soup kitchen to help my dad serve dinner to the less fortunate. I continue to have all the holidays, and I always make sure everyone I know has a place to eat, if not, they know they are always welcome. Our day was filled with laughter, food, football and a whole lot of love.
