Asparagus Sautéed in garlic and olive oil

“first we eat, than we do everything else”

I started eating asparagus as an adult, I never thought that I would like it; boy was I wrong. I love it! I had leftover countertop tomatoes, so I added them to the recipe.

  • 1 bunch of asparagus, cut into small pieces
  • olive oil
  • handful of fresh parsley
  • fresh garlic, minced
  • salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
  • parmesan cheese, or your favorite kind
  • leftover countertop sauce or you can use diced tomatoes (optional )

Heat olive oil in a skillet on medium heat with the minced garlic, add the asparagus and cook. Add seasoning to taste and cook until asparagus is nice and tender. Add the diced tomatoes and parmesan cheese. Serve when you are ready to eat.
