“eat like you love yourself”
Quinoa is another favorite and healthy food that Ronnie, my husband and Anthony, my son want to eat, it has so many health benefits. It’s high in fiber, magnesium, B vitamins, iron, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin E, and various beneficial antioxidants. I could go on and on. I buy it in bulk at whole foods; located in an aisle which is great to explore.
I started to substitute rice with Quinoa, to make it a healthier meal. I do like rice and like I always say “everything in moderation” so I will continue to make rice dishes too.
To me, the joy of cooking is that I can create my own recipes. Sometimes they flop but Ronnie always eat my meals and won’t say anything negative. I have found that with time and a lot of practice I’m able to make these meals taste delicious.
