“is it october yet”

This is the time of year when I look forward to crisp Autumn days. I love everything about Autumn; the weather is perfect, the delicious comfort food, Halloween, Thanksgiving, football, and the excitement of getting ready for Christmas. When September comes around, I want to start decorating for Fall but I know it’s a bit too early. Instead of decorating, I think about all the different meals I can create, even though it’s still a bit warm outside. Today I wanted to have a “Fall” dinner. Ronnie suggested meatloaf and mashed potatoes; not my favorite but something different. So…. for our Sunday dinner I made meatloaf, mashed potatoes, as well as corn. For dessert we had apple strudel with ice cream. It wasn’t my usual Sunday dinner, but it turned out delicious.
