“all you need is love and a dog”
I used to make homemade treats for Cyrus; he was a wonderful dog who passed away far too young. It was hard to get over his death, so my son Anthony adopted another dog to make the transition easier for all of us. So along came Remy who is 2 years old now. He is still in the goofy stage, but he is another great dog. I found this recipe a long time ago when I had my very first dog, Jersey. I adopted Jersey when my kids were all small and she lived until she was 15 years old. Jersey gave us great memories, and lived a long and wonderful life. I can’t imagine a life without a dog.
- 1/4 cup of peanut butter
- 1/4 cup of coconut oil
- 1 can of pumpkin or carrots
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Cook coconut oil in a saucepan over medium heat until it is melted. Add peanut butter, pumpkin and cinnamon until combined, mixture will be thick.
Pour into ice cube trays or molds. Freeze until they are set. Frozen treats are great for hot summer days.

My friend I wish I had the time to cook like you …❤️ Love all those dogs! ❤️❤️❤️
