“collect moments not things”
My daughter Logan came home for the weekend; she requested a few things to eat and what she wanted for Sunday dinner. Her list consisted of pizza strips from a bakery (you can’t get them in Florida), everyones favorite green olive dip with Fritos, macaroni and cheese grilled cheese sandwich, and clam cakes and clam chowder. She came home Friday morning, and I had already gone to the bakery for her to buy the pizza strips; during the day we snacked on the olive dip, and at night we made her the mac and cheese grilled cheese sandwiches. I had a break from cooking on Saturday because she went to a wedding. Sunday dinner, I made the clam chowder (my recipe will soon be on my blog). I have to admit that I cheated and bought clam cakes, and my good friend Shannon made Logan her favorite pasta salad; and of course I insisted on making her homemade pizza. It was a weekend filled with family, great friends and great food. We had a wonderful visit with Logan.
