Super Bowl Sunday

“the measure of who we are is what we do with what we have” – Vince Lombardi

I have been hosting Superbowl Sunday for many years. My dad would always bring his famous hot wiener sauce, he always said it was better than the restaurants. I’ve watched football with my dad since I was a kid. His memory continues every year during football season and especially on Super Bowl Sunday. So we continue every Super Bowl with my kids and a whole lot of food. I started the day with taking my little Maliah to nickjr.Live. We went with my friend Shannon and her granddaughter, Guiliana. Maliah had a great morning with her friend. When I got home, we started making the food for the game. We had turkey chili, Ronnie’s nachos, our favorite green olive dip with Fritos and Allie’s egg rolls. Jonathyn brought our favorite pizza from Rosa Mia, and Allie made a barbecue chicken dip. Maliah helped me make the chocolate chip cookies, so we could have ice cream sandwiches. As always, we had a great day, and we ate way too much food. Hopefully my dad is looking down on us with a smile.
